Program Overview: Future Stars – Skills & 3v3
This class is for young players (U7, ages 5–7) who have mastered the basics and are ready to take their game to the next level. We focus on transforming their zero (baseline) into their one (personal breakthrough)3.

Our one-hour weekly sessions are a dynamic blend of fundamental development and fun, fast-paced game concepts. We’re driven by the idea that every program begins with a clear starting point—your “zero”—and is built to move you forward.
- Focus on Essential Fundamentals: Sessions will build crucial skills including edge control, stride technique, puck handling, passing, and shooting.
- Game Concept Introduction: We introduce game awareness and strategic thinking through engaging and fast-paced 3v3 play—the ideal setting for small-area mastery.
- Positive, High-Energy Environment: Players will develop confidence, coordination, and awareness in an inclusive space that promotes creativity and teamwork.
- Skills-to-Game Application: Each session combines skill development drills with small-area games, helping players apply what they learn in real game situations. This is where hockey gets smarter.

To ensure a safe and productive environment for all participants, players must meet the following requirements:
- Prerequisite: Participants must have completed a Future Stars Learn to Skate or a recognized Can-Skate program.
- Equipment: Players must wear full hockey equipment, including a helmet with a cage, and a neck guard.
