Hockeyology ‘U’ STRIKE CAMP

Dear valued ZerOne Community,

With the Alberta Teacher’s Strike now scheduled to begin on October 6th, we understand this may be causing uncertainty for many families. We stand in solidarity with the teachers of Alberta and recognize their vital role in our community. We also want to support parents by providing a productive and engaging solution for their children during this time.

When schools are closed, class is in session at Hockeyology U. Our half-day camps are the perfect way to keep your player active, learning, and having fun during the teacher’s strike.

Give your athlete a high-energy day packed with on-ice training, off-ice conditioning, and classroom sessions, all led by our expert coaches. This camp is designed to sharpen your player’s skills, build confidence, and keep them engaged in a safe and structured environment. As a parent, you’ll get peace of mind knowing your kids are active and taken care of.

Each day of camp includes:

• On-Ice Training: We’ll focus on skill development and game play on our small-area rinks, which are designed to force players to master skills in a compact space, mimicking the modern game.
• Dryland Training: Our off-ice sessions, designed by Premier Strength, focus on the posture, mobility, and strength required to play at a high level.
• Skate Treadmill Sessions: Players will train on our HDTS Skating Treadmills, a synthetic surface that mimics ice, allowing them to train their skating in a controlled environment.
• Classroom Sessions: With our state-of-the-art media centre, your player will participate in lessons designed to enhance their Hockey IQ and leadership skills.
• Healthy Snacks: A healthy snack will be provided to players daily.
• Hockeyology Swag: Each player will receive a piece of Hockeyology apparel.

• Age Groups: U9, U11, U13
• Dates: October 6, 7, 8, 9, 10
• Time: 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

• Daily Rate: $129 per day
• 3-Day Package: $329
• 5-Day Package: $489
• Optional Lunch: You can purchase lunch for an extra $20 plus GST.
